It's here, it's here, it's here!

The #Fridayfeelgood is back - who could have predicted this!? Not AI, I tell you! 😜

Let's hear what's been going swimmingly for you this week - got a new client, a new car or a new cookie🍪, I want to know. Let's share a bit of positivity and possibly even fun? 👀

My week this week has been a little manic - kind of like the weather we've been experiencing in Norn Iron lately and it isn't slowing down for the weekend!

I've completed some #audiodescription for live theatre in the form of the spooky ooky Ghost Stories (well worth a trip to the theatre btw), I've been helping the announcing/media team in preparation for the #rollerderbyworldcup in Innsbruck Austria - where I hope to be in a few weeks time and on top of that I've been working on some corporate scripts!

I have even had a couple of other little projects ticking along too - watch this space!

Happy weekending folks - if you're looking for a fun activity in Belfast over the weekend you can catch Belfast Roller Derby at a double header in the Valley Leisure Centre where I'll be your announcer for the day!

Until next week...

It's #FridayFeelgood time and I want to know what's been great in your week - let's share our Friday feel goods!

This week, I got off to a great start with a couple of pals with an icy dip in Bangor on Monday night! "Felt the fear and did it anyway" and the pay off was great - cold water swimming is incredible for helping get a good nights sleep! It also reminded me of a poem I wrote during my #oof365daysofpoem challenge which you can read below.

Feeling the fear and doing it anyway feels like a good mantra to have as a creative freelancer. I like many others I know have been trying different things in our respective areas because simply put, the world is changing we need to move with the times if we want to keep doing what we love!

I hope if you're a freelancer and you're reading this that you know it's ok to feel the fear but let's do it anyway. #voiceover has plenty of challenges but I'm passionate about keeping things human and I know that I'm not alone!

Outside of the sea adventuring, some exciting new projects with new clients and new skills learning on the horizon. Oh and to top it all off it's the VO Social NI meet up tomorrow in the Sunflower Bar which is always a great time!

I hope that it's a great weekend for you all.

If you're in need of a Northern Irish voice, poet and sometime deep sea diver....drop me a line....;)

It's the #FridayFeelgood, the moment you've all been waiting for, it's time to feel good about something this week, I DOUBLE DARE you!

What's worked out for you this week? A new client, an old client, a job in a new department? I want to share in your good news!

So, this week, I lost my voice a little bit - OH NO Oonagh, isn't that a BIG part of what you do!? It sure is, but I couldn't be mad - on Tuesday night I fulfilled a twenty something year dream to catch one of my favourite bands live and I spent the guts of three hours singing and dancing which is what led to my being a little less than perfect sounding on Wednesday morning!

Being the (nearly always) ;) professional that I am though, I know that rest, hydration and gentle exercise will generally always see me through to the other side of waking up with a pond of frogs in my throat!

I hope that it's been a productive and fulfilling week out there, let me know what you've been up to!
