Hiya folks! Welcome to the first #FridayFeelgood of the month!

I hope it's been a great week for you and I would love to hear about your feelgoods from the week - maybe you've booked a great job, maybe you've booked a great HOLIDAY orr maybe YOU just had a piece of lemon meringue pie the size of your head ;D ...I want to know so tell me below!

My feelgood this week is a culmination of a bunch of things that all leads back to the thought that it's ok to take a wee break, reassess and come back to it.

That's what I've done and I've been working with my fabulous mentor Jan Todd who's been helping me reframe how I look at my website and really how to get the most out of what it is exactly I do.

I get overwhelmed as a creative person (I'm sure I'm not the only one) with some of the nitty gritty office admin that to me feels inorganic and not creative but sometimes having someone sit with you and ask you questions can help you refocus how you feel about it, the same way sitting with a good friend can make the world feel like a much nicer place.

How do you reassess what it is you do? Do you need to or have you totally got a grip on what it is you do?

I'm headed into the weekend buzzing with ideas and feeling ready to get started on Monday's work which is really nice!

Here's to a great weekend!

It's the end of the month and how are you feeling this Friday??

I hope that you feel good - in fact I hope that you feel GREAT and I would love you to share your #Fridayfeelgood with me! What's been the highlight for you?

This week as a #northernirish #voiceover has been refreshing both literally and metaphorically - a 10k run in the wretched weather which I can't say was a highlight but was I was certainly feeling 'fresh' by the end of it and refreshing because I'm working once again with a fabulous mentor who's helping me refresh my website and output.

On the business mentor side of things, I would love to hear from the other freelancers out there, how you go about the 'business' side of things - I find as a creative that some of the business side doesn't come naturally - is it scheduling, confidence or simply a lack of will to do anything besides being creative????

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Have a great weekend!

Hi and welcome to this #FridayFeelgood!

I hope that your week and weekend have been excellent and I want to hear about your feelgoods! Let me know below what's been great for you in the last 7 (9) days ;)

My feelgood is the reason this post is late - I was simply too busy Friday-Sunday to get around to this...and this isn't a post about feeling smug either!

This weekend I was audio describing two shows in #belfast so that involves a lot of watching, writing, re-watching, re-reading notes and wondering things like - who wrote this and what does that say!? *If there's one thing I've learned, that's to stay on top of your handwriting skills. I hand write a lot more than most people and sometimes it's tricky to ensure it's all legible!

#Audiodescription for anyone that doesn't know, is simply voiced description added to video or spoken at live events to add context for anyone who cannot see, can only partially see or only wants to listen.

This weekend I provided the audio description for Joseph and The Technicolour Dreamcoat in the Grand Opera House and The Gap Year in the Lyric Theatre. Both productions were fantastic and it was a real pleasure to work on two wonderful and very different styles of show.

Have you been to either of these productions-what did you think!?

Here's to a great week for us all and I look forward to reading your #fridayfeelgoods!

If you need a voiceover that specialises in good handwriting, that's probably not me but for all other voiceover services, I'm your guy!

If you need a Northern Irish, clear, confident voice to make your business or organisation sound great or to make your event more #accessible and #inclusive get in touch today!
